Chapter 14x - Yearning to Breathe Free

Leif is escaping from Tahra, it's nightfall in a valley area, and apparently a large group of civilians are trying to follow us through the valley. We get ambushed by Silessian mercenaries and Loptian forces. Basically, NPC civs will show up from the bottom, and if I take the time to save any, I get a S drink as a reward. IIRC, they just keep spawning endlessly so there's no point waiting around too long for them, and it's best to maybe pick up one, then make a dash towards the escape point at the top.

Linoan joins in this map, and she comes with a bunch of various staves, but I'll need to provide her a weapon. Basically enemy Pegasi can spawn kind of randomly along the sides of the map, and Sorcerors can spawn and use Rewarp staff to jump in. This is a good place to take out and capture a few Sorcerors to pick up some Rewarps.

Near the top of the map there are a couple boss units. A Dark Bishop with Fenrir, who can hit pretty hard. And accompanying him is a Hero that has 16 AS and a Killer Axe. It's important to approach these boss units with a bit of caution.

I take a reset for not remembering about the bosses and getting nailed by a Killer Axe crit. And another for forgetting that Finn wasn't at C Sword yet, so he was unarmed and got picked up by a Pegasi, taking away a bunch of equipment. Otherwise, the map isn't too eventful.

Lewyn shows up at the end of the map, speaking to Augustus. Being forced to flee from Tahra after putting up an amount of resistance was a bit of an expected result, so while disappointing they could not save Tahra, Lewyn commends the effort of at least being able to survive up to this point. He imagines it will be about a year before they'll meet again, as he's got some touring around to other areas of Jugdral to put things into motion. Moving forward, we now head towards Leonster castle, though the path we can take to reach there has a branching path.
